If you are in the narrow 14-day window when you are able to submit a confirmation statement, you will have to act quickly to obtain the missing codes. Although Companies House has stated they will not prosecute individual directors for failing to complete their ID-verification in the first year of operation of the new scheme, it is likely the company will suffer escalating penalties for being unable to file its confirmation statement. We recommend using the free ID-verfication service Companies House offers, but MAAP is an ACSP and we may be able to help as a last resort. It is also worth noting Companies House may accept a 14-day extension to the filing deadline on application.
